Huton Punch & Die Grinders
The Hunton Vertical Grinder is designed for keeping turret press tooling sharp.
These grinders come in two basic sizes with many options. The standard model comes with a magnetic chuck for holding the dies, and a 3-jaw chuck for holding the punches.
A graduated handwheel in .001" increments provides for easy and precise adjustment for an excellent finish.
The 3-jaw chuck can be replaced with a shear grind/quick change chuck. This special chuck allows for grinding rooftop shears up to 10º.
Quick-change adaptors can also be used in this chuck. These adaptors allow the tooling to be re-sharpened without removing spring packs, which saves valuable time.
A coolant tank and pump is also offered as an option on some models, standard on others
