Mather & Smith - Joined the Group bringing with them over a century and a half of foundry experience. Since the early nineteenth century the Ashford foundry has produced quality iron castings for many markets: agriculture, engineering, water supply and disposal and, throughout their history, architecture.

Today Mather & Smith offer a range of products and services that retain all the benefits and beauty of traditional castings and in addition, through the application of some of the most modern foundry technology, give previously undreamed of flexibility in structural and decorative design.

St Johns Church Bethnal Green

Mather & Smith were made the main contractor for the restoration of the wrought iron railings and the stone work at St Johns church, Bethnal Green. Work started on the restoration of the railings and stone work in late February 2009 and was completed in August 2009. The works were part funded by English Heritage and donations from local people.
